Kyle Palmieri was present for the first time at New York Islanders training camp on Wednesday after missing the first week and a half of practices with an undisclosed injury.

NHL Salary Expected To Grow in 2024:
The NHL’s salary cap has risen minimally for the last few years but could make a large jump ahead of the 2024-25 season. At the NHL Board of Governors meeting in New York City, league commissioner Gary Bettman said it’s possible for the salary cap to rise by as much as $5 million next year, which would place it in the $87 million – $88 million range.
