ISLANDERS NOTES
Today, the New York Islanders visit the Winnipeg Jets in the second and final matchup between the two teams this season.
These teams last met five days ago, when Simon Holmstrom and Sebastian Aho each scored to help the Islanders earn a 2-1 victory at UBS Arena.
The Islanders have captured a win in their last two visits to Canada Life Centre, and will look to earn their 13th road victory of the season today. They have collected points in five of their last seven games (4-2-1) and in three of their last four meetings against Central Division opponents.
