Wahlstrom, 23, is coming off an injury-shortened season last year, playing in only 35 games before suffering a lower-body injury in late December. Before the injury, Wahlstrom had 16 points with seven goals.
The former 2018 first-round draft pick is entering his fifth NHL season this upcoming year.
