Good morning and welcome to Friday. The New York Islanders are back in action as they host the Nashville Predators at 7:30 PM. The game is an ESPN+/Hulu exclusive. The Islanders had won their previous four contests before struggling against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday. The Islanders did not hold a morning skate on Friday, as head coach Lane Lambert will speak with the media around 4:45.

NYI Hockey Now: The New York Islanders were busy on Thursday, as with players still hurt, two new faces joined the NHL roster in Hudson Fasching and Cole Bardreau. Detroit Hockey Now: The Detroit Red Wings placed Tyler Bertuzzi on injured reserve Thursday with a hand injury and recalled Austin Czarnik from the Grand Rapids Griffins. Detroit Red Wings.
