New York Islanders vs Philadelphia Flyers

The New York Islanders and the Philadelphia Flyers will face each other in the postseason for the first time in 33 years. The Flyers defeated the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night to set up the Second Round showdown between the divisional rivals.

The last time the two teams faced in the postseason was back in 1987, when the Flyers eliminated the Islanders in seven games in the Division Final. The Islanders are 1-3 all-time against the Flyers in the postseason.
