Thomas Greiss Gets Game 7 Start; Michael Dal Colle in Islanders Lineup
Barry Trotz went all-in with the New York Islanders season on the line.
Thomas Greiss got the start in Game 7 and Michael Dal Colle replaced Leo Komarov in the lineup. For Thomas Greiss, the start was just his second of the postseason and Michael Dal Colle was making his first appearance in the lineup since Game 5 in the Islanders First Round series with the Washington Capitals.
Barry Trotz said there would be changes to the Islanders lineup when he met with reporters on Saturday afternoon. He did not elaborate.

Thomas Greiss stopped 36 shots in Game 3, which was his first start of the playoffs. The Islanders won that game 3-2.
“I think every player believes in both of our goalies,” Jean-Gabriel Pageau said prior to Saturday’s Game 7. “They’re both really good. They’ve been really good all season and in the playoffs they’ve both done an awesome job. Whoever is in the net we know is going to do the job. But we have to do the job in front of them too.”
Michael Dal Colle appeared in just his third career playoff game on Saturday night. He saw 9:12 of action in Game 5 against the Capitals.
