New York Islanders, Zach Parise

In case you hadn’t heard at this point, Zach Parise is going to be a member of the New York Islanders. If you need any more proof than his own words, he was spotted on Tuesday on the ice in Minnesota wearing Islanders gear.

Parise was sporting orange and blue hockey pants along with islanders colored socks. He also wore a white helmet.

Zach Parise already confirmed to Michael Russo of the Athletic last week that he had a deal in place with the Islanders and that he would be arriving on Long Island this month for training camp. It has been known for weeks that Parise would be joining the Islanders for the 2021-22 season, with several outlets, including NYI Hockey Now, reporting the agreement had been worked out before free agency opened.

Parise was bought out of his 13-year, $98 million contract in July. He played in 45 games for the Minnesota Wild last season, with seven goals and 11 assists.
