The New York Islanders were scheduled to play the Buffalo Sabres last night, but due to COVID-19, that game was postponed by the NHL. Given the latest issues involving the virus, the NHL has revised their protocols, to ensure a safer environment. Freshman Ashley Morrow scored her first collegiate goal in LIU’s last game. For a second consecutive game, the Nassau Coliseum stood dark after both of the New York Islanders’ games with the Buffalo Sabres were postponed this week due to COVID-19.
