The New York Islanders did not have a particularly good weekend on the ice. They dropped both of their games in Florida, first a 5-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, followed by a 3-2 loss to the Florida Panthers. Head coach Lane Lambert made lineup decisions to try and provide a spark, but they did not pan out.
