Florida Hockey Now: Matthew Tkachuk is coming back to the Florida Panthers after serving a two-game suspension just in time to meet some of his old pals from Edmonton. The star power forward was hit with the suspension for high-sticking Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick in the final minute of a 5-4 loss last Saturday night. Florida Panthers.

Washington Hockey Now: From the get-go, the Washington Capitals tilt with the Tampa Bay Lightning was filled with adrenaline and physicality. There were big blocks, a lot of chances and a couple of big brawls, while gloves and helmets littered the ice on a couple of occasions. And ultimately, it all set Washington up for a big win. Colorado Hockey Now: Darren Helm had abductor surgery last week and was placed on Long Term Injured Reserve, according to old friend Jesse Montano from DNVR. So, while there is no official target date still with Helmer, it sounds like he’s finally gotten the proper treatment he needs and that we can count on him being back at some point reasonably soon. San Jose Hockey Now: The San Jose Sharks visit the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center. Alexander Barabanov, Evgeny Svechnikov, Timo Meier, Logan Couture, and Tomas Hertl gave the Sharks a 5-2 lead, and San Jose pulls out a 5-4 victory. San Jose Sharks.

Dallas Hockey Now: While it wasn’t quite the 5-1 shellacking in Winnipeg, the Dallas Stars allowed five goals and dropped their second straight game in regulation, falling 5-4 to the San Jose Sharks on Friday. Dallas Stars.
