NYHN Reader Poll: How Confident Are Islanders Fans as Series Shifts to Long Island?
The New York Islanders First Round series with the Pittsburgh Penguins shifts back to Long Island on Thursday with things all even at one. The Islanders took the opening game in overtime, while an ugly first period cost the Isles in Game 2.
Roughly 6,800 fans will be in the building for Game 3, making that the highest capacity the New York Islanders have played in front of since the Pandemic started. They had been limited to 1,400 fans during the regular season.

So just how confident are the 6,800 that will pack Nassau Coliseum and the many, many more watching at home? The power play has struggled even before the playoffs and slow starts have clearly been an issue.
