Islanders Game 70 vs. Ducks: Lines, Notes, & How to Watch

LOS ANGELES — Less than 24 hours after dropping their game against the Los Angeles Kings 5-1, the New York Islanders (34-27-8) face off against the Anaheim Ducks (22-35-10). Puck drop is slated for 10 PM ET at Honda Center.
The New York Islanders are 7-4-1 in the second legs of back-to-backs this season, and after shooting themselves in the proverbial foot on Tuesday, the hockey gods give them a prime chance to redeem themselves against league bottom-feeders.

There’s no morning skate for New York as head coach Lane Lambert will talk at 7:30 PM ET.
The expectation is that Semyon Varlamov will get the nod after Ilya Sorokin played against the Kings. Varlamov was in goal for the 5-1 loss to the Washington Capitals last Saturday, stopping 22 of 27 shots.
