The Islanders had the day off on Sunday following the Game 1 win over the Florida Panthers.

The main concern on Sunday was about Johnny Boychuk, who took a massive hit from Mike Matheson on Saturday. Barry Trotz didn’t have much of an update when he spoke with the press on Sunday.

The Islanders will likely have some sort of update on Boychuk come today after 3 p.m.

In the meantime, Toronto Correspondent Rob Simpson gave us a peek behind the curtain in the Toronto bubble.
