Cal Clutterbuck Leaves Game 4 Early
Cal Clutterbuck left the New York Islanders Game 4 loss early after taking a punishing hit from Radko Gudas late in the second period.
The Islanders forward was taking the puck towards the offensive zone when he was upended by Gudas near the boards. Cal Clutterbuck was slow to get up after the play and was not on the bench when the Islanders returned for the start of third period.

Islanders head coach Barry Trotz did not have an update on Cal Clutterbuck after the game.
“Anytime that you come low on a guy like that it’s always a bit of an unwritten rule,” Trotz said. “But Cal could have gotten rid of the puck a little sooner, that’s for sure. We’ll have an update tomorrow.”
Clutterbuck finished Game 4 with 8:17 of ice time and was a plus-1. He also registered a hit in the Islanders 3-2 loss to the Capitals.
