Fans of the New York Islanders have been finding plenty of ways to support the team since they cannot physically be in the building to watch the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

On Saturday, Matthew Kammerer completed his mission to fly a “Let’s Go Islanders” banner over the city of Toronto for the team to see. Earlier in the week, members of the Blue and Orange Army hit the beach to watch the New York Islanders battle the Washington Capitals.

The notorious New York Islanders fan group set up shop on Cedar Beach in the Town of Babylon for what they’ve dubbed “Beachgate.” The group has done it on three occasions during the Islanders First Round series with the Washington Capitals, including on Thursday night when the Islanders closed out the series with a 4-0 win.

The Blue and Orange Army is planning on hosting future “Beachgate” events during the Islanders Second Round Series with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Game 1 of that series begins on Monday at 7 p.m.
